CITY HALL CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

In an effort to keep our employees and the community safe during the COVID-19 virus crisis, City Hall has been closed to the public. Our team is dedicated to keeping our virtual doors open and we will continue to update our list of online alternatives below. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

While City Hall's door may be closed, we are hosting Virtual Open Counter events every Wednesday, 9am-10am on Zoom with members of our team and the Department of Public Works. “Open Counter” is for citizens to communicate with staff regarding permitting and development matters. For more details and the Zoom information, please see our website calendar or Facebook event.

Building, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Inspections are STILL REQUIRED

On-site inspections are being done at this time. The City requires inspections to be scheduled by using the online Inspection Request Form  (preferred method) or by calling 920-448-3300.

Plan Submittal

Plans can still be submitted for review and processing at the drop-box located at the back door of City Hall. If the plans are too big, please call 920-448-3300 and someone will come down to receive them. Due to the 6’ social separation requirement, the plans will be placed outside and we will pick them up. Payments for plan review can be made by check or by credit card online.

Permits

Permits are still being issued but when possible, please complete them online and e-mail them for review. You would e-mail them to inspmail@greenbaywi.gov
Follow this process for making payment for instructions.

If you cannot do them online, you can submit permits at the drop box located at the back entrance of City Hall. Payments for permits can be made by check or by credit card online.

Housing and Zoning Complaints

For the health and safety of our employees and the community, we have suspended all on-site interior inspections, but have begun exterior inspections. For interior issues, if you submit photo documentation, we may be able to address some of those complaints.
