The City of Green Bay an Entitlement Community that receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). A portion of these funds are used to contract with Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council (through the Northeast Wisconsin satellite office) to address fair housing and housing discrimination, and to certify that all efforts are being made to affirmatively further fair housing during the program year.
HUD is committed to ensure that everyone is treated equally when searching for a place to call home, and offers a brochure to help educate on housing discrimination-how to recognize it-and what rights/protections are required under law.
The Fair Housing Brochure is in English. For additional languages, please visit the HUD website.
