About the University Avenue Corridor

The University Avenue Corridor traverses a large and diverse area of northeastern portions of Green Bay, and lies adjacent to some of the city’s most significant ecological areas. The corridor extends approximately 4 miles from the East River to the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay campus (UWGB). The corridor includes a mix of commercial and industrial properties and housing.

Many parts of the corridor have been identified as needing revitalization or redevelopment. To facilitate redevelopment, the City has invested in a corridor planning effort, where a number of catalyst sites were identified as having the most potential to improve University Avenue’s character and influence redevelopment on nearby properties.
