The University Avenue Corridor traverses a large and diverse area of northeastern portions of Green Bay, and lies adjacent to some of the city’s most significant ecological areas. The corridor extends approximately 4 miles from the East River to the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay campus (UWGB). The corridor includes a mix of commercial and industrial properties and housing.
Many parts of the corridor have been identified as needing revitalization or redevelopment. To facilitate redevelopment, the City has invested in a corridor planning effort, where a number of catalyst sites were identified as having the most potential to improve University Avenue’s character and influence redevelopment on nearby properties. For more information about this corridor, visit the University Avenue Redevelopment Plan page.
